About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape and deliver integrated marketing, communications and customer programme plans that support regional priorities.
- Lead programme planning, project delivery, budget oversight, process improvement and reporting across key initiatives.
- Act as a trusted MarComms partner and advisor to senior internal and external stakeholders across a complex organisation.
- Connect multiple activity streams into coherent programmes, identifying priorities, reducing complexity and proactively managing risks and opportunities.
- Lead and influence across project teams, workstreams and stakeholder groups, providing guidance, clarity and momentum without direct line management responsibility.
- Ensure all activity reflects NZTE’s brand standards, market needs, customer outcomes and stakeholder expectations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing programmes across events, digital channels, communications and customer initiatives.
- Strong operational and project management capability, with experience translating strategy into practical plans and delivered outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrix or complex stakeholder environment, gaining alignment and driving outcomes.
- Budget management, process management and continuous improvement experience, with the ability to simplify complexity and prioritise effectively.
- Strong engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, coach, mentor and support delivery through others.
- Exposure to customer-focused, sales-led or international organisations would be valuable, as would experience in internal communications and media and public relations initiatives.
