About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Strengthen NZTE’s engagement and impact across Pacific markets.
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships, identify market opportunities.
- Connect customers and internal teams to the right insights, support and networks.
- Report to Market Manager – Australia Pacific and work across NZTE, NZ Inc. partners and regional networks.
- Support regional planning, government and business engagement.
- Represent NZTE at business forums, council engagements, and key events for the market.
- Deepen NZTE’s relationships and presence across Pacific markets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior relationship management and influencing experience, ideally across government, business or cross-agency settings.
- Strong communication skills, including clear briefings, quick information triage and practical insights.
- The ability to spot opportunities, connect people and keep work moving in an organised, purposeful way.
- A collaborative style, commercial or strategic awareness, and confidence representing NZTE in senior settings.
- Pacific market experience, familiarity with NZ Inc. partners, international organisations, or reporting and insight-led work will be highly regarded.
