About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct management oversight of assigned pre-doctoral academic administration and monitor aspects of dental students' education in the dental care center
  • Monitor students' daily activities in the dental care center
  • Manage patient care and the patient pool of the group practices
  • Manage student performance in the dental care center
  • Collaborate with dental students, faculty, and the clinic manager to resolve patient problems
  • Ensure patient records are completed
  • Track encounter forms for student academic credit and remit them to clinic management for processing
  • Report to the Chair / Associate Chair of the Department of Cariology and Comprehensive Care

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination
  • Experience in academic administration and/or supervising clinical activities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
  • Familiarity with Article 28 and related health protocols is preferred
  • Experience in a large dental clinic operation is preferred
