About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Immigration process for short-term programs
- Deliver immigration services for a specific population within the Office of Global Services
- Advise on opportunities, rights and responsibilities under the law
- Counsel international students/scholars/employees on all personal, health, social, cultural, financial, and immigration matters
- Collaborate with staff, schools, departments, and outside organizations to provide information on immigration/mobility requirements and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in management, Communications, Business, Education, or Liberal Arts
- 2+ years of relevant immigration regulations advisement and compliance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience teaching/training/presenting
- Knowledge of immigration and exchange visitor requirements for multiple global locations
- Ability to communicate effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds; excellent organizational, interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
- Computer literacy
