About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in oversight of graduate/professional awarding, special programs and other aid initiatives.
  • Serve as the point of contact between schools and the Office of Financial Aid regarding Graduate and Professional (G&P) student awarding.
  • Coordinate all aspects of awarding, service priorities, and G&P operational processes.
  • Provide guidance and student services to Graduate and Professional students.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years Relevant professional level experience or equivalent combination.
  • Must include experience with Peoplesoft Campus Solutions module (Financial Aid, Student Records, Student Financials, Academic Advisement, Campus Community, Admissions, etc.) or its equivalent.
  • Prior supervisory experience and/or demonstration of increased responsibilities managing interconnected data and data systems within higher education or financial services fields.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with automated student financial aid systems, ability to identify process issues, make recommendations and collaborate on process and system enhancements.
  • Knowledge of financial aid need analysis and federal/state financial aid programs.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex laws, policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet and database software applications.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Excel, SQL.
