About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the operational, academic, and fiscal functions of the Graduate and Undergraduate Math for Engineering programs
- Partners with the Director and Chair to design and implement strategies that strengthen program delivery and enhance the student academic experience
- Manages day to day administrative workflows
- Coordinates special projects
- Supervises staff
- Oversees budget planning and tracking to ensure the department's goals are met efficiently and effectively
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 3+ years of increasingly responsible professional level experience in advising and providing student services or administering and marketing programs or events
- Ability to plan, develop and implement programs, and develop marketing and retention strategies
- Ability to problem solve and interact with individuals at all levels
- Experience supervising staff and collaborating with faculty
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with budget preparation and administration
