Key responsibilities & impact

Supports the operational, academic, and fiscal functions of the Graduate and Undergraduate Math for Engineering programs
Partners with the Director and Chair to design and implement strategies that strengthen program delivery and enhance the student academic experience
Manages day to day administrative workflows
Coordinates special projects
Supervises staff
Oversees budget planning and tracking to ensure the department's goals are met efficiently and effectively

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in related field
3+ years of increasingly responsible professional level experience in advising and providing student services or administering and marketing programs or events
Ability to plan, develop and implement programs, and develop marketing and retention strategies
Ability to problem solve and interact with individuals at all levels
Experience supervising staff and collaborating with faculty
Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with budget preparation and administration
