About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide advising throughout the financial aid process to prospective, new and current students and their families.
- Exercise independent judgment in the management of operational details of financial aid processes involving direct interaction with students.
- Provide guidance and communication to students accordingly.
- Review incoming financial aid application and any supporting documentation needed to determine the accuracy of the financial and household information reported on the FAFSA.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years relevant experience in a financial aid and student services environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant knowledge of Title IV and institutional financial aid processes and systems.
- Ability to use technology and information systems to support work and develop data (PeopleSoft, CampusLogic, ImageNow, IDOC, ServiceLink, Cisco etc.).
- Must have a thorough knowledge of available types of financial aid, scholarships and general student eligibility criteria.
