Direct administration for Tandon’s Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE)
Ensure operational excellence and service
Develop and manage departmental budgets
Manage and evaluate the design, development, and implementation of department programs, policies, procedures, and controls for initiatives
Direct the administrative execution of MAE’s academic programs and new initiatives
Analyze and interpret statistics and management planning data
Oversee all non-curricular aspects of the department’s programs
Serve as the point of contact for technical advice and assistance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in a related area
7+ years of experience
Excellent leadership, planning, management, networking, and presentation skills
Ability to negotiate solutions to resolve problems
Must demonstrate the ability to work as a team member and to think creatively
Must have strong and polished written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of other PC programs.
