Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare financial aid reports and related analyses and summaries
Maintain complex financial and budgetary spreadsheets; track awards and/or stipends ensuring they are posted to proper accounts
Apply calculations to data and tabulate
Establish student financial records and files and ensure that records and files are maintained and updated on an ongoing basis
Initiate and respond to various types of inquiries regarding financial aid policies, procedures, deadlines, etc.
Coordinate all aspects of the named scholarship process

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or equivalent
3 years of related experience
Experience providing a high level of customer service
Proficiency with intermediate-level spreadsheet, database and word processing applications
Knowledge of financial software package
Preferred: 1 year of related experience in a financial or accounting firm processing a large volume of transactions (with a Bachelor's degree)
