About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare financial aid reports and related analyses and summaries
- Maintain complex financial and budgetary spreadsheets; track awards and/or stipends ensuring they are posted to proper accounts
- Apply calculations to data and tabulate
- Establish student financial records and files and ensure that records and files are maintained and updated on an ongoing basis
- Initiate and respond to various types of inquiries regarding financial aid policies, procedures, deadlines, etc.
- Coordinate all aspects of the named scholarship process
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of related experience
- Experience providing a high level of customer service
- Proficiency with intermediate-level spreadsheet, database and word processing applications
- Knowledge of financial software package
- Preferred: 1 year of related experience in a financial or accounting firm processing a large volume of transactions (with a Bachelor's degree)
