About the role
- Draft, negotiate, execute, and manage contracts, inbound subawards, and sponsored research agreements
- Ensure all agreements align with University policies, sponsor requirements, and applicable regulations
- Ensure proper award administration and advise stakeholders on specific terms, conditions, and compliance requirements
- Translate contractual requirements into clear, practical guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts
- Strong understanding of contract management and research compliance
- Familiarity with contracts and collaborations, sponsored programs and research administration
- Experience reviewing, analyzing and negotiating contract terms and conditions
- Exceptional critical reading, writing, and analytical thinking skills
- Must have expertise in contracting and knowledge of federal regulations
