About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform liaison and support activities for recruitment management of sponsors, coordinators, and donors
- Coordinate communications between sponsors, coordinators, donors, recruitment representatives, and the blood center
- Serve as primary point of contact for Donor Recruiters when they are not in the office
- Provide backup and support coverage as needed
- Answer questions, resolve recruitment issues, solve problems, and maintain donor records
- Create and provide promotional materials to account stakeholders
- Communicate details and results with staff
- Produce queries, donor lists, and reports for recruitment and management
- Maintain accurate computer data entry, appointment schedules, and written records
- Refer donor inquiries to appropriate personnel
- Manage the high school scholarship program
- Recruit blood donors at off-site events such as health fairs, sign-up sessions, and blood drives
- Provide donor calling support and create call lists
- Follow scripts when supporting donor calling efforts
- Present a positive public image and build rapport with donors
- Maintain confidentiality of donor information and company materials
- Help with additional projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, and/or administrative support
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Blood banking knowledge preferred
- Customer service training preferred
- Understanding of the donation process and donor deferral guidelines and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of donor data and company materials
