About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Overseeing key client engagements, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Establishing timelines, delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and preparing comprehensive reports for senior leadership
- Direct collaboration with clients to ensure alignment with project objectives and contractual parameters
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–8 years of proven experience in Technical Project Management
- Financial/banking industry experience
- Experience managing technical projects in large-scale enterprise environments
- Background in technology, specifically with network devices and physical infrastructure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software tools
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence in presenting to stakeholders
- Demonstrated leadership and strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively
- Proactive in keeping up with evolving technologies and industry trends
- Strong client-facing and internal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with solid multitasking capabilities
- PMP, CCNA or equivalent knowledge, certifications a plus, but not mandatory; ITIL certification is also a plus
