About the role
- Serve as the relationship owner for assigned customer accounts.
- Lead scope development and proposal creation, including defining technical requirements, deliverables, timelines, and assumptions in collaboration with internal teams.
- Participate in pre-sales calls to understand customer objectives, gather technical requirements, and present Cyber74 solutions.
- Support sales efforts by validating solution approaches, answering technical questions, and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and service offerings.
- Track and follow up on active pipeline opportunities, open proposals, and ongoing discussions to drive timely decisions.
- Manage project renewals, contract extensions, and recurring service engagements to ensure continuity of service and customer retention.
- Conduct regular customer check-ins and post-engagement follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Act as the internal advocate for the customer by coordinating with delivery, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure successful execution.
- Ensure smooth handoffs from sales to delivery and from delivery into ongoing account management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account, opportunity, and engagement information in CRM and internal tracking systems.
- Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, or expanded services based on customer needs and engagement history.
- Represent Cyber74 at industry events, conferences, partner meetings, and customer forums as needed.
- Provide feedback from customers and partners to internal teams to help inform service improvements and strategic direction.
- Build strong professional relationships with customer and partner operating companies to support collaboration and long-term success.
Requirements
- Three or more years of experience in technical account management, solutions engineering, sales engineering, consulting, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Experience creating scopes of work (SOWs), proposals, or technical service documentation.
- Strong understanding of IT services, cybersecurity services, managed services, or consulting environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions and service offerings.
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
