About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute local tasting events and promotions
  • Provide product sampling at accounts and promotional events to drive local-market sales
  • Sell into designated local accounts with assistance from the local Ranger
  • Build and maintain account relationships, partnerships, and marketplace visibility
  • Handle product placement
  • Perform in-store surveys
  • Track and report account visits
  • Provide customer service and educate customers about NBB beers, culture, and business practices
  • Engage customers through social media as required while following legal compliance and internal policies
  • Maintain legal compliance when serving and selling beer
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum six (6) months of customer service-related work experience
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Transportation to event locations
  • Exceptional customer service skills and abilities
  • General knowledge of brewing and the beer industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of local laws/guidelines around identification and alcohol service
  • Ability to pass TIPS training during orientation
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to speak in front of large groups
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve matters appropriately and effectively
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Frequent and constant standing and walking
  • Availability for flexible hours, up to 15–20 hours per week, including nights and weekends
  • Availability during peak seasons, including ski and summer seasons
