About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Bring the brand to life by translating national strategies to the local level and executing them throughout the appropriate market
- Create PR-worthy, branded events and experiences that are locally relevant
- Tailor national branding plans to the local marketplace and work with internal PR and local media
- Manage annual regional brand calendar development and implementation
- Provide voice and content for NBB's local social, paid, and earned media
- Drive local promotion and leverage NBB Marquee events
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and campaign-based reporting on local brand activations
- Oversee the budget
- Complete other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of festival or event management experience
- 1 year of experience developing new events
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Marketing experience or relevant education
- Project management experience in the marketing/events industry
- Experience with marketing and sales integration
- Solid knowledge of the beer and brewing industry
- Familiarity with NBB products and culture
- Solid public speaking skills
- Solid social media skills, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and blogs
- Basic understanding of sales, marketing, and branding
- Solid self-management and detail management skills
- Solid knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- General regulatory knowledge of events and promotions
- Squeaky clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to travel more than 75%
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to carry weights up to 52 lbs. over the shoulder up to 200 feet and maintain required grip strength
- Ability to tip, roll, and control a full 162-lb. keg
- Fine motor dexterity
- Ability to climb, stoop, crawl, twist, squat, and reach overhead
- Frequent, constant standing and walking
