About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead strategic global merchandising for both global key account (GKA) wholesale partners within the athletic specialty channel
  • Shape strategic planning across multiple business units and in alignment with global category direction
  • Own global merchandising GKA plan(s) deployed by regional channel merchandising teams across NA, EMEA, and APAC
  • Inform plans through business analytic insights, consumer research, and marketplace dynamics
  • Manage team members by providing clear direction, coaching, feedback, and support
  • Reconciling regional commercial input across both accounts
  • Drive the GKA assortment strategy in go-to-market milestones
  • Develop assortments to achieve shape, share, and product mix targets
  • Protect integrity of key models and franchises through disciplined lifecycle management and product segmentation
  • Engage in international travel requirements at key GTM gates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 12-15+ years of industry experience with preferred working experience directly with wholesale partners
  • Deadline oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional at managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Resourceful problem solver with a DIY approach
  • Knowledgeable in channel segmentation, range architecture, product assortment planning, concept drivers and product flow
  • Sophisticated communicator, able to clearly present and negotiate with key account team and influence multiple regions, cultures, and senior leadership
  • Strong oral and written communication skills that influence alignment to strategic direction of merchandising plan
  • Ability to build strong internal/external relationships
  • Energetic, positive can-do attitude and experience working in a team environment with proven leadership skills
