About the role

  • Assist with configuring, administering, and maintaining LAN, WAN, wireless, virtual, and cloud network environments.
  • Perform hands-on administration of cloud networking components in AWS and Azure, including virtual networks, subnets, routing, and connectivity services.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and alerts across on-premises and cloud environments; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Perform routine network maintenance, patching, and updates under supervision.
  • Support hybrid network connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud platforms.
  • Assist with firewall rule changes, VPN connectivity, network segmentation, and cloud network security controls.
  • Follow network security standards, configuration baselines, and access control policies.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, procedures, and configuration records.
  • Provide technical support for network-related issues.

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience in network administration or infrastructure support.
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
  • Hands-on experience supporting cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure environments.
  • Foundational understanding of network security, access controls, and segmentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow established procedures.
