About the role

  • Bring Salesforce project implementations to life by working with customers to understand business and identify requirements
  • Design, develop, QA, and launch Salesforce solutions
  • Contribute to internal product development and build major components used to package solutions
  • Work directly with customers to define requirements and present and deliver solutions
  • Architect solutions and develop in Visualforce, Apex, Lightning Components, JavaScript, AJAX and other technologies to build customised solutions
  • Lead technical design sessions with customers and project team
  • Train and mentor the team on latest Salesforce features and major launches
  • Participate in release and multi-environment management and integrations to legacy systems using Salesforce APIs

Requirements

  • Work directly with customers to define requirements and present and deliver solutions
  • Architect and develop in Visualforce, Apex, Lightning Components, JavaScript, AJAX and other technologies
  • Lead technical design sessions with customers and project team
  • Ability to quickly acquire new technical expertise and train and mentor team
  • 5+ years project experience in a hands on technical position
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce in a development or configuration capacity
  • BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Has worked on multiple Salesforce project deployments including release and multi-environment management, integration to legacy systems using Salesforce APIs, and requiring original code development
  • Experience implementing new deployments of Salesforce
  • Experience implementing new Service Cloud deployments, TableauCRM, and Experience Cloud is a huge plus
  • Professional experience owning the end-to-end Software/Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including structured code management
  • Any Salesforce certifications are a plus, preferably Platform Developer I or Platform Developer II certifications
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Platform and its architecture
  • Understanding of Service Cloud, Macros, LiveAgent Development, Omni-Channel, SOS, Snap-In’s is a big plus
  • Working hands-on experience on writing code in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience on any JavaScript technologies like Node, Angular, React is a huge plus
  • Experience with Web Services Concepts like REST, SOAP, JSON and XML
  • Attention towards detail – detail oriented
