About the role

  • Role: Social Media Manager to drive our social media strategy across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube with a hands-on approach and team leadership.
  • You’ll craft content across platforms, ensure medical accuracy, adherence to brand guidelines, and on-camera video participation.
  • Responsibilities include content strategy, calendar management, video content development, visual content development, content review.
  • Community management with patients, advocates, healthcare professionals; handle sensitive interactions with clinical accuracy and empathy.
  • Manage influencer and affiliate partnerships; identify creators in chronic illness, disability, and neurology communities; run end-to-end campaigns.
  • Analytics & optimization: track performance metrics, generate insights, report to leadership.
  • Team leadership: manage Social Media Coordinator, develop team.
  • Basic requirements and preferences reflect in the candidate search.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of social media management experience with demonstrated success in growing brand presence and engagement
  • Experience successfully growing a nascent or early-stage brand in social media
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, native platform insights, Iconosquare or similar)
  • Advanced knowledge of design & video editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, Descript, Riverside, etc)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences

  • Experience managing influencer partnerships and campaign performance
  • Personal attributes: Deep respect & empathy for patient experiences and commitment to representing diverse voices authentically
