Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and expand existing Mid Market Commercial accounts, ensuring adoption and renewal of Netwrix data security and compliance solutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to acquire net new customers
- Build strategic relationships with CISOs, CIOs, IT security teams, and compliance officers
- Develop and execute territory plans aligned with customer cybersecurity needs
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and product positioning
- Facilitate adoption of solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid IT environments
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, marketing, and product teams
- Monitor industry trends, data security regulations, and competitive offerings
- Maintain pipeline forecasts and sales performance reports in Salesforce
- Communicate sales progress to internal stakeholders
- Cover the territory of North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of sales experience in cybersecurity or IT security solutions
- Track record of managing existing accounts and net new business
- Strong understanding of information security concepts, including data classification, access management, auditing, and compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS compliance frameworks
- Ability to engage prospects at multiple organizational levels and grow existing client relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for varied audiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce
