HR Coordinator
Network ConnexHuman Resources Coordinator working with the HR team to assist in various HR functions. Responsibilities include compliance, employee engagement, and HRIS maintenance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the HR team on daily HR tasks and initiatives.
- Provides technical, customer relations, and general support for major initiatives and projects.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Maintains the HRIS to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll/HRIS system; information may include employee’s hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Administer programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction levels.
- Create and/or distribute communications (memos, emails, letters, presentations, spreadsheets, surveys, etc.).
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 1-2 years of human resource management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or in process is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
