About the role
- Investigate and respond to external complaints in line with RG 271 and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with external agencies including AFCA to ensure timely and accurate resolution
- Document dispute processes and outcomes with precision
- Recommend solutions that align with legal obligations and internal policies
- Manage high volumes of complex disputes within strict regulatory timeframes and meet SLAs
- Ensure consistency and fairness in dispute outcomes while tailoring responses to individual cases
- Keep up with regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Collaborate within the Operational Governance Division on governance, transaction monitoring, and fraud-related matters
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in dispute resolution, compliance, or legal roles
- Strong knowledge of RG 271 and AFCA processes
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, or related fields
- Familiarity with governance and risk systems such as Protecht and CRM platforms
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to stay informed on regulatory changes and adapt to evolving industry standards
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
