About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage end-to-end people operations for India offices.
- Coordinate pre-boarding documentation including ID proofs, educational certificates, and background verification data.
- Set up new employees in HRIS across India and global systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely completion.
- Facilitate HR onboarding sessions for new joiners, covering employee benefits, policies, and key HR processes.
- Conduct HR orientation sessions covering benefits briefings, policy walkthroughs, and compliance training for all new joiners.
- Manage end-to-end resignation workflows including exit interviews, experience letters, and relieving formalities.
- Collect and validate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leave records, pay changes, and loss-of-pay deductions.
- Coordinate with Finance and payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely salary processing each cycle.
- Manage employee insurance administration, including handling queries, coordinating with vendors, and processing monthly additions and deletions.
- Maintain statutory registers and support statutory filings including PF, PT, and Shops & Establishment compliance.
- Liaise with labour law consultants on audits, inspections, and compliance updates.
- Oversee POSH compliance including Internal Committee (IC) constitution, employee awareness training, and annual reporting.
- Manage leave and attendance systems and maintain up-to-date holiday calendars for all India offices.
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employee queries on policies, payroll, benefits, and general HR processes.
- Issue employment-related letters including salary certificates, employment verification letters, and visa support documentation.
- Manage India-specific HR and administrative vendors including background verification agencies, insurance brokers, payroll providers, and facilities partners.
- Track and maintain vendor service agreements, renewal timelines, and performance metrics.
- Plan and execute company events, training logistics, employee welfare programs, and engagement activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience in HR operations, with strong exposure to payroll administration, statutory compliance, and employee lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and payroll software used in India-based operations.
- Solid understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory requirements including PF, PT, Shops & Establishment, and POSH.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and track service agreements across multiple functions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven payroll and compliance processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across employee levels, functions, and geographies.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritize competing demands, and drive outcomes independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with HRIS/HRMS tools.
