About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a primary HR contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on a wide range of people-related topics.
  • Build effective relationships with managers, coaching them on performance management, feedback, and employee development.
  • Participate in team meetings to stay aligned with business priorities and proactively identify people-related needs.
  • Analyze trends such as engagement, attrition, and employee relations themes, and share insights with HR leadership.
  • Manage employee relations matters of low to moderate complexity, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy interpretation.
  • Support investigations in partnership with senior HR and Legal, ensuring consistency and proper documentation.
  • Guide managers through performance improvement plans (PIPs), corrective actions, and related processes.
  • Provide support to employees navigating leaves, accommodations, and sensitive workplace situations.
  • Support performance review cycles, including manager coaching and calibration processes.
  • Partner with leaders on talent discussions, development planning, and internal mobility.
  • Facilitate onboarding touchpoints and early employee check-ins to support retention and engagement.
  • Execute core HR processes including promotions, transfers, and organizational changes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies and ensure consistent application across teams.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives and projects, including program rollouts and process improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist or early HRBP capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting:
  • Employee relations
  • Performance management processes
  • Direct manager interaction and coaching
  • Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience in a technology or similarly dynamic industry.
  • Familiarity with Workday or comparable HRIS platforms.
  • Exposure to supporting multi-location or global teams.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification, or progress toward certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
