People Partner, Human Resources

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a primary HR contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on a wide range of people-related topics.
- Build effective relationships with managers, coaching them on performance management, feedback, and employee development.
- Participate in team meetings to stay aligned with business priorities and proactively identify people-related needs.
- Analyze trends such as engagement, attrition, and employee relations themes, and share insights with HR leadership.
- Manage employee relations matters of low to moderate complexity, including performance concerns, workplace conflicts, and policy interpretation.
- Support investigations in partnership with senior HR and Legal, ensuring consistency and proper documentation.
- Guide managers through performance improvement plans (PIPs), corrective actions, and related processes.
- Provide support to employees navigating leaves, accommodations, and sensitive workplace situations.
- Support performance review cycles, including manager coaching and calibration processes.
- Partner with leaders on talent discussions, development planning, and internal mobility.
- Facilitate onboarding touchpoints and early employee check-ins to support retention and engagement.
- Execute core HR processes including promotions, transfers, and organizational changes with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain knowledge of HR policies and ensure consistent application across teams.
- Contribute to HR initiatives and projects, including program rollouts and process improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist or early HRBP capacity.
- Demonstrated experience supporting:
- Employee relations
- Performance management processes
- Direct manager interaction and coaching
- Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience in a technology or similarly dynamic industry.
- Familiarity with Workday or comparable HRIS platforms.
- Exposure to supporting multi-location or global teams.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification, or progress toward certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
