- Define project scope, debate architecture, identify trade-offs, and determine implementation details
- Collaborate with UI Engineering, Design, Platform, and tooling teams
- Empower other engineers by understanding and supporting their use cases
Requirements
What you’ll need- Skilled in designing performance-focused UI architectures
- Ability to support numerous use cases and scale across 100+ engineers
- Ability to efficiently manage resources
- Experience enabling new technology integrations
- Ability to balance developer experience and ergonomics with performance, memory, and scalability
- Comfortable applying systems thinking to application architecture
- Active engagement with industry trends and technologies supporting scalable software
- Interest in understanding technology internals and improving performance, memory, and interfaces
- Performance and memory profiling
- TypeScript/JavaScript experience
- Experience with other languages such as C++
- Experience with React, Preact, Inferno, or similar frameworks
- Experience with GraphQL or similar data access solutions
- API design experience
- Passion for elegantly designed, maintainable, performant software
- Ability to empower engineers and understand their use cases
- Ability to make thoughtful architectural trade-offs
