About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and draft ads policy across one or more functional areas, such as financial services, healthcare, and alcohol
  • Proactively identify business-critical issues and opportunities to improve how Netflix advises, aligns, and finalizes ads policies
  • Advocate for Ads Policy needs using a global lens and balance scalability, localization, nuanced sensitivities, and cultural perspectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant fields such as Advertising Policy, Content Moderation, Policy Compliance, Legal Operations, or Trust & Safety
  • Functional expertise in Content Moderation, Policy/Legal Operations, and Trust & Safety
  • Robust knowledge of the technology sector and key internet policy issues, including online and brand safety
  • Experience managing and scaling high volumes of content across multiple verticals and countries
  • Experience running multiple simultaneous, complex policy projects from inception through completion
  • Strong communication and cross-functional skills
  • Ability to engage, listen, and collaborate with internal departments and teams from strategy through execution
  • Ability to translate complex issues into simple, clear language
  • Experience collaborating closely with advertisers, legal, and sales teams
  • High intellectual curiosity and a goal-oriented entrepreneurial mindset
