About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and drive the multi-quarter product vision and strategy for Content Ingestion & Distribution
  • Own products for unified direct delivery via APIs, web portals, and standards-based feeds
  • Lead spec-agnostic ingestion, partner onboarding and permissioning, metadata capture, and automated asset evaluation and QC
  • Own distribution orchestration, automation, catalog architecture, and fulfillment to business platforms and systems
  • Partner with operational teams to translate pain points into prioritized backlogs and product strategy
  • Use operational KPIs to guide product investment and reduce turnaround time, issues, and manual steps
  • Work with partner domains to streamline asset workflows and launches
  • Hire, coach, and develop Product Managers; set goals and raise product craft standards
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Rights, Encoding Technologies, Localization, Content Foundations, Member Product, and Operations
  • Communicate product context and opportunities to engineers, stakeholders, and senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of product management experience for B2B-focused products
  • Track record shipping complex technical or platform products, ideally in content supply chain, media processing, ingestion/distribution pipelines, workflow orchestration, developer/partner platforms, or large-scale operational systems
  • Strong systems thinking and technical acumen
  • Comfort reasoning about pipelines, APIs, data models, automation, and trade-offs between speed, quality, cost, and risk
  • Ability to work deeply with engineering without needing to code
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with operational teams and translate operational realities into product strategy and roadmap
  • Data-driven analysis and decision-making with excellent judgment and prioritization in ambiguous, high-scale environments
  • Experience collaborating across engineers, designers, data scientists, and business partners in a highly cross-functional, matrixed organization
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, including presenting technical content to non-technical audiences
  • People leadership experience developing talent, giving candid feedback, and elevating Product Manager craft
  • Experience building automation- or ML/AI-powered products that reduce manual effort at scale is a strong plus
  • Experience in media, entertainment, or streaming is a strong plus
