Requirements

A product-focused leader who understands what customers want and has a passion for building critical infrastructure platforms.
Leadership that treats Engineering process as a product, identifies friction in how the team builds, ships, and fixes software.
Strong software development focus with past work abstracting away complexity and guiding teams to deliver simple, effective solutions to customers.
Outcome-focused mindset and able to think from first principles.
Experience building and operating complex distributed systems at scale.
Experience with building/consuming the networking stack of a public cloud is a plus.
Shipping through organizational complexity.
Proactively resolves cross-team dependencies, migration sequencing, competing priorities.
Builds consensus and influences peer teams to move initiatives forward.
Solid understanding of Layer3/Layer4 networking, and network security is a plus.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
