About the role
- Work collaboratively with data engineers and other partners in the messaging space
- Build reliable, scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark/Flink
- Power analytic dashboards, custom viz applications, A/B experiments, and algo features
- See the problem through a platform lens
- Build scalable, flexible data products
Requirements
- Experience in distributed data processing (Batch or Streaming)
- Strong SQL skills
- Proficient in at least one major programming language
- Passionate about writing clean, supportable code
- Strong data modeling skills
- Advocate for data quality
- Strong opinion on data audits, unit tests, and documentation
- Strong communication skills
- Proven success leading complex technical projects
