About the role
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers working on the Ads Platform.
- Define and drive the design vision and strategy for ad products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Ad Sales to deliver cohesive, impactful solutions.
- Oversee end-to-end design process—from discovery and ideation to prototyping, testing, and delivery.
- Champion user-centered design, balancing advertiser goals with an exceptional member experience.
- Foster a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement through feedback, critique, and mentorship.
- Use data, research, and experimentation to inform design decisions and demonstrate impact.
Requirements
- 10+ years in product design, with 3+ years managing design teams.
- Experience in advertising technology, platforms, or related domains.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and grow high-performing design teams.
- Ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into elegant, scalable design solutions.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating impactful product design work in platform or ad-related products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with senior stakeholders across disciplines.
- Deep empathy for users and a passion for solving complex problems with simple, intuitive solutions.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
