About the role
- Partner with Commerce XD designers to define and extend design system components
- Partner with Hawkins design team members for compliance
- Employ storytelling to present UX strategy
- Apply big-picture thinking to actionable roadmaps
- Drive a human-centered design process from concept to launch
- Include user research, ideation, concept development, validation, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and implementation support
- Clearly communicate design rationale and iterations to stakeholders
- Create beautiful, emotionally compelling mockups and prototypes
- Facilitate collaborative work sessions with stakeholders
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing user experiences for consumer-facing products across mobile, web, and/or TV
- Growth, monetization-related experiences are a plus
- Systems thinker who thinks strategically about individual business needs
- Experience creating design guidelines and aligning multiple stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, navigating ambiguity, and driving clarity
- Extraordinary thoughtfulness and craft in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
- Ability to produce a range of UX/UI concepts and identify edge cases
- Demonstrated ability to work on patterns across multiple UI platforms
- Humble, collaborative approach to partnering with PMs, engineers, and business stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills in writing and verbally
- Deep understanding of user expectations and behavior around multi-platform experiences
- Multiple successful product/feature launches
- Experience with A/B testing and data-informed design decisions
- Figma experience is a must
- Flexibility to work US West Coast hours.
