About the role

  • Lead strategic planning and execution for a complex global AV engineering, operations, events, and experiential initiatives.
  • Oversee and coordinate AV programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational strategies.
  • Communicate program status, progress, and performance to stakeholders and senior leadership, providing the transparency needed for informed decision-making.
  • Directly manage multiple projects; develop and maintain effective project plans and timelines, and execute against them.
  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program efforts that align with N-Tech AV priorities—enabling engineering leaders to focus on technical excellence.
  • Foster strong relationships and influence stakeholders, Product leadership, and engineering management to adopt improved workflows, practices, and delivery frameworks.
  • Orchestrate work across multiple cross-functional teams, creating a collaborative and transparent environment for all stakeholders.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to create efficiencies, optimize workflows, and establish quality standards across AV Engineering.
  • Analyze and quantify AV Engineering challenges, risks, and opportunities, developing initiatives to increase productivity and reduce friction for team leads.
  • Establish a reliable and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, prioritization, and resource management, ensuring improvements are measurable and have high impact.
  • Identify essential requirements, resourcing, and budget needs for cross-functional and internally driven projects.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in project and program management; experience in both strongly preferred.
  • Background in management consulting or an MBA is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in the various AV Engineering processes (Live Events, shared spaces, conference room construction and design, Support and Operations, and Specialty space construction)
  • Experience with techniques and tools that drive process efficiency and continuous improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean thinking, Scrum).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to socialize, explain, and “sell” new and complex strategies, practices, and workflows.
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts related to innovative technology (e.g., Generative AI, automation, remote observability).
  • Experience and ability to respectfully and confidently engage with executives and operational colleagues.
  • Ability to manage and operate in ambiguous situations and think on your feet to solve challenges and problems.
  • Knowledge of the product development workflow is strongly preferred (e.g., project management, user acceptance testing, functional documentation development).
  • Knowledge and experience of the content creation process is a plus (e.g., on-set production, post-production services, associated workflows, and metadata).
  • Experience owning program strategies with a focus on end-to-end delivery.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and demanding environment, possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity, and demonstrates strong judgment in the face of ambiguity.
