About the role
- Join a team of senior foundational TV engineers focusing on quality assessment for TV streaming applications.
- Innovate and enhance TVUI release processes, test automation frameworks, and alerting.
- Build and maintain tools supporting the TV Release Quality team and broader TVUI engineering community.
- Collaborate to solve complex quality challenges for the TVUI streaming application.
- Develop impactful testing, building, and releasing tools, improving productivity and quality.
- Engage in continuous learning and support a positive team culture.
Requirements
- Experience with test framework development (Jest, Puppeteer, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Experience in maintaining CI/CD environments (Jenkins, TeamCity, CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
- Experience designing, architecting, and scaling complex software systems, in addition to maintaining and improving existing frameworks/systems
- Strong problem-solving skills: identifying, quantifying, and resolving technical issues, with proven expertise in debugging and troubleshooting complex, production-level issues in a distributed environment.
- Proven ability to support and enable developer teams through tooling and process improvements
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a positive, feedback-driven mindset
- Comfort working in a culture that values autonomy, candid feedback, and continuous learning.
