About the role
- Manage on-premise datacenter operations as part of the Cloud Infrastructure team, ensuring stability and performance.
- Partner with Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and Architecture teams to maintain a world-class cloud and infrastructure operation.
- Ensure security and compliance standards (SOC2-T2, ISO27001) are implemented effectively and pragmatically.
- Maintain and enhance business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) plans in alignment with evolving business needs.
- Oversee observability standards and practices across the infrastructure environment in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership for incident response SMEs in partnership with the defined Incident Management process.
- Build trusted partnerships within the CTO organization, especially with Cloud Engineering leadership.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers focused on professional growth, certification, and readiness for full public cloud operations.
- Manage AWS PaaS services supporting NetDocuments’ SaaS applications.
- Lead annual budget planning and ongoing cost oversight for tools, infrastructure, and personnel.
- Implement best practices for vendor management within the infrastructure domain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 12+ years of professional experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering/operations, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- 6+ years of people leadership experience with strong coaching, development, and team-building skills.
- Deep understanding of technology infrastructure functions and operational best practices for SaaS companies.
- Proven experience in automation, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Demonstrated project and change management experience within a multinational organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, including strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2-T2 and ISO27001.
