About the role

  • Manage on-premise datacenter operations as part of the Cloud Infrastructure team, ensuring stability and performance.
  • Partner with Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and Architecture teams to maintain a world-class cloud and infrastructure operation.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards (SOC2-T2, ISO27001) are implemented effectively and pragmatically.
  • Maintain and enhance business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) plans in alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Oversee observability standards and practices across the infrastructure environment in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership for incident response SMEs in partnership with the defined Incident Management process.
  • Build trusted partnerships within the CTO organization, especially with Cloud Engineering leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers focused on professional growth, certification, and readiness for full public cloud operations.
  • Manage AWS PaaS services supporting NetDocuments’ SaaS applications.
  • Lead annual budget planning and ongoing cost oversight for tools, infrastructure, and personnel.
  • Implement best practices for vendor management within the infrastructure domain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 12+ years of professional experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering/operations, preferably within a SaaS environment.
  • 6+ years of people leadership experience with strong coaching, development, and team-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of technology infrastructure functions and operational best practices for SaaS companies.
  • Proven experience in automation, DevOps, and platform engineering.
  • Demonstrated project and change management experience within a multinational organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, including strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2-T2 and ISO27001.
