About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and mentor a team of network automation engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Develop and implement a comprehensive network automation strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Design, deploy, and maintain automation solutions for network configuration, monitoring, and management.
Oversee the execution of network automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions with existing network infrastructure.
Monitor and analyze network performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization through automation.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to automation and network performance.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, procedures, and best practices.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the automation capabilities of the network.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.
8+ years of experience in network engineering or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focusing on network automation.
Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages. Strong understanding of networking protocols and network management systems.
Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
