About the role

  • Provide guidance and support to junior QA engineers and share best practices.
  • Develop detailed test plans and test strategies from requirements and specifications.
  • Design comprehensive test cases and scenarios covering functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Execute manual and automated tests across functional, regression, performance, usability, and security areas.
  • Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects with development teams.
  • Collect and analyze quality metrics and prepare test reports for stakeholders.
  • Participate in design and code reviews from a QA perspective.
  • Evaluate and recommend QA tools and technologies.
  • Maintain QA environments, tools, and test data.
  • Assess release risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure software meets internal standards, regulatory expectations, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the development team on quality concerns.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with typically 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years, or equivalent work experience.
  • Cloud experience, preferably AWS.
  • Large-scale software testing experience, including databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
  • Performance testing experience.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins and Selenium.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
