About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide guidance and support to junior QA engineers and share best practices.
Develop detailed test plans and test strategies from requirements and specifications.
Design comprehensive test cases and scenarios covering functional and non-functional requirements.
Execute manual and automated tests across functional, regression, performance, usability, and security areas.
Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects with development teams.
Collect and analyze quality metrics and prepare test reports for stakeholders.
Participate in design and code reviews from a QA perspective.
Evaluate and recommend QA tools and technologies.
Maintain QA environments, tools, and test data.
Assess release risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Ensure software meets internal standards, regulatory expectations, and best practices.
Develop and maintain automated scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
Act as a liaison between customers and the development team on quality concerns.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with typically 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years, or equivalent work experience.
Cloud experience, preferably AWS.
Large-scale software testing experience, including databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
Performance testing experience.
Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins and Selenium.
Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
