About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate in a technical pre-sales capacity for the Manufacturing sector
- Identify candidate workloads and design appropriate solutions
- Run proofs-of-concept for Azure-based products
- Collaborate with Microsoft Sales and Technical teams
- Educate customers about Cloud services offered by NetApp and Azure
- Participate in industry meetups and user groups
- Publish reference architectures, significant wins, best practices both internally and externally
- Maintain customer Opportunity status in Salesforce
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree plus 8 + years of related field experience
- Strong technical knowledge of Cloud concepts and technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred)
- Experience in working with customers within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
- Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects concurrently
- Knowledge of Network Attached Storage (preferably NetApp)
- Familiarity with Container orchestration runtime concepts and solutions (preferably Kubernetes)
- Experience running proofs-of-concept for software, hardware, or Cloud-based solutions in a pre-sale’s role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong English language skills (other languages are a plus)
