About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with partners to develop, qualify, manage and close a velocity sales business within an assigned sales territory
- Develop and oversee implementation of a strategic plan to align partners and account team on territory growth strategy
- Develop, manage, and grow a pipeline of sales opportunities with Public sector capable partners and distributors to drive sales revenue
- Leverage NetApp and partner resources to create brand awareness and generate demand in assigned territory
- Deliver NetApp strategy, vision, and messaging to customers, prospects and partners
- Responsible for sales forecasting accuracy, linearity and operational hygiene to achieve business management excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Initial experience in territory sales, partner sales, business development, or a related customer-facing role, ideally in IT
- Fluent in English and German, with strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Good understanding of the partner landscape within an assigned territory, or the ability to build this knowledge quickly
- Exposure to data storage and cloud technologies and concepts
- Well-organized and able to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
- Located within the assigned territory and willing to travel regularly to visit local customers and partners
