About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of world-class systems and databases
  • Collaborate with customer’s technical teams from recognized global companies
  • Diagnose and solve interesting technical problems daily
  • Provide OpenSearch as a Managed Service
  • Participate in on-call Level 1 or Level 2 roster
  • Undertake complex cluster operations such as migrations, upgrades, and maintenance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Good experience in OpenSearch technology (preferably including issue investigation, upgrades/migration)
  • Desire to upskill and develop to a true expert level
  • Good experience working on one Public Cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Preferably have past IT Customer service/support experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Linux
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal English
  • Ability to follow required processes and procedures
  • Investigating/researching OpenSearch issues would be a plus
  • Programming skills in Python or Java, and source code control using Git would be good to have
