Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and oversee implementation of a strategic territory plan to align partners and account team on territory growth strategy.
  • Develop, manage, and grow a pipeline of sales opportunities with capable partners and distributors to drive sales revenue.
  • Leverage NetApp and partner resources to create brand awareness and generate demand in assigned territory.
  • Deliver NetApp strategy, vision, and messaging to customers, prospects and partners.
  • Responsible for sales forecasting accuracy, linearity and operational hygiene to achieve business management excellence.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving net new business.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of field technology sales with a focus on new logo acquisition, technology-driven selling, and business development.
  • Strong understanding of partner landscape in a specific territory.
  • Broad exposure to a variety of data storage and cloud technologies/concepts.
  • Highly organized and disciplined with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within departments across functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Located within assigned territory and able to cover a large number of customers virtually (call, meetings), via partners, as well as travel to visit local customers and partners.
