About the role
- Audit existing prompts to spot unclear phrasing, inconsistent tone, missing metadata, or outdated guidance.
- Flag duplicates/overlaps and propose consolidation.
- Apply consistent naming, tagging, and structure (tone notes, input instructions, use cases).
- Ensure prompts align with our style guidelines (clarity, conciseness, sentence case).
- Draft high value utility prompts (e.g., “shorten,” “improve clarity,” “active voice,” “summarize for executives”).
- Partner with writers to validate and refine.
- Update the QuickQuery setup/how to guide with clearer steps and screenshots.
- Write a brief “getting started” walkthrough for new users.
- Observe/assist in beta user testing sessions, collect feedback and screenshots, synthesize themes and usability issues.
- Feed prioritized findings back to the team.
Requirements
- Strong written communication skills
- Curiosity about UX writing or content design
- Ability to analyze content for clarity, structure, and consistency
- Interest in AI assisted content creation and editorial workflows
- Familiarity with prompt writing or generative AI tools (Nice to have)
- Experience with documentation tools, content systems, or technical writing (Nice to have)
- Basic comfort reading or thinking through technical concepts (Nice to have)
