About the role
- Support compliance activities across the EMEA region
- Collaborate closely with GTC team members in other regions
- Ensure the effective implementation of NetApp’s Global Trade Compliance program
- Contribute to the development, modification, and execution of procedures related to export and import compliance regimes
- Engage with internal and external partner organizations
- Manage export licensing of products and technical data
- Accomplish customer or transaction screenings such as restricted party list reviews
- Contribute to export/import compliance awareness training
- Maintain compliance procedures
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with U.S., EU, and other applicable global regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 years of relevant experience in customs and export roles
- Fluency in languages other than English a plus
- Knowledge of Global Trade Compliance processes; may include background in customs/export classification, licensing, valuation, country of origin, screening, or other relevant processes
- Prior experience working in trade compliance programs in large, global tech companies is a plus.

- Fluency in English
- Ability to exercise judgement, determine actions within defined procedures, contribute to analysis and problem-solving, and negotiate to solution
- High level of integrity and professionalism, including dealing with complex and sensitive matters
