About the role
- Develop a strong technical understanding of NetApp’s existing data management and storage solutions in the Cloud.
- Participate in all phases of the product development cycle.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and measure system health, availability, and latency.
- Stay up to date with security trends and proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex security issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Engage in incident management processes and resolve issues within agreed SLAs/SLOs.
- Handle unstructured tasks and conducting research to convert vague/undefined requirements into clearly articulated ones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development and cloud engineering.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Python.
- Strong hands-on operational knowledge in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or OCI).
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and collaboration skills are a must.
