About the role

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of NetApp’s existing data management and storage solutions in the Cloud.
  • Participate in all phases of the product development cycle.
  • Continuously monitor, analyze, and measure system health, availability, and latency.
  • Stay up to date with security trends and proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve complex security issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Engage in incident management processes and resolve issues within agreed SLAs/SLOs.
  • Handle unstructured tasks and conducting research to convert vague/undefined requirements into clearly articulated ones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development and cloud engineering.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Python.
  • Strong hands-on operational knowledge in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or OCI).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and collaboration skills are a must.
