Key responsibilities & impact

Own three to five concurrent Platform Engineering programs end to end: charter, plan, execute, close
Drive programs that cross team boundaries
Maintain program-level risk registers, decision logs, and status artifacts
Manage the vendor accountability lifecycle
Drive vendor transitions through contractual closeout
Run Platform Engineering Kanban ceremonies and the Architectural Review Board
Produce reporting that feeds Platform Engineering staff meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ten plus years managing technical programs in infrastructure, platform, or cloud environments
Demonstrated ownership of large infrastructure programs (virtualization, network, database migration, data center, or equivalent)
Direct vendor and MSP program management experience, including contract execution oversight and structured accountability conversations with partner leadership
Proficiency with Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
Track record establishing PM frameworks and operating cadences at the organization level
