About the role
- Design and maintain the Atlassian platform ecosystem for the delivery of customized solutions
- Manage system configuration, database, and provide training and support to users as needed
- Work closely with engineers, developers, administrators, and analysts on business-critical projects
- Document and maintain architecture artifacts including system diagrams, data flow maps, and integration specifications
- Assess architectural changes to accommodate business needs
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of Atlassian platform updates and third-party integrations
- Establish and enforce architectural standards and governance policies across the Atlassian ecosystem
- Conduct regular architecture reviews to identify technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards
- Manage and administer Jira cloud instance
- Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, boards, and permissions
- Troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software development, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in Jira administration, with a focus on JIRA Cloud environment
- Expertise in configuring and customizing Jira workflows, projects, custom fields, screens, and permissions
- Extensive knowledge of Jira Service Management implementations and ITIL-based processes
- Proficiency in Jira REST APIs and experience with scripting for automation and integrations
- Demonstrated ability to integrate Jira with other enterprise applications (e.g., Slack, Salesforce, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum/Kanban boards in Jira
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve Jira-related issues effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and CI/CD pipelines integrations
- Experience with Atlassian Access and organization-level administration
- Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems and Infrastructure as Code practices
