About the role

  • Design and maintain the Atlassian platform ecosystem for the delivery of customized solutions
  • Manage system configuration, database, and provide training and support to users as needed
  • Work closely with engineers, developers, administrators, and analysts on business-critical projects
  • Document and maintain architecture artifacts including system diagrams, data flow maps, and integration specifications
  • Assess architectural changes to accommodate business needs
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of Atlassian platform updates and third-party integrations
  • Establish and enforce architectural standards and governance policies across the Atlassian ecosystem
  • Conduct regular architecture reviews to identify technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for optimization
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards
  • Manage and administer Jira cloud instance
  • Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, boards, and permissions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software development, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong experience in Jira administration, with a focus on JIRA Cloud environment
  • Expertise in configuring and customizing Jira workflows, projects, custom fields, screens, and permissions
  • Extensive knowledge of Jira Service Management implementations and ITIL-based processes
  • Proficiency in Jira REST APIs and experience with scripting for automation and integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate Jira with other enterprise applications (e.g., Slack, Salesforce, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum/Kanban boards in Jira
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve Jira-related issues effectively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and CI/CD pipelines integrations
  • Experience with Atlassian Access and organization-level administration
  • Knowledge of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
  • Experience with version control systems and Infrastructure as Code practices
