About the role
- Lead the company's strategic finance initiatives and develop financial approaches aligning with corporate objectives
- Serve as key partner in short and long-term financial strategy and planning
- Lead all corporate and associated finance functions across the enterprise
- Partner with Board, CEO, private equity sponsor, and C-Suite as a trusted advisor
- Establish, implement, and maintain financial strategy, plans and policies, fiscal controls, and financial reporting
- Monitor, analyze, and forecast financial status; develop financial reporting packages for management and ownership
- Implement processes to drive critical analysis and data-driven decision-making
- Engage in M&A activity and integration; support M&A including modeling and ROI analysis
- Play a critical role in capital allocation decisions and investment review
- Conduct detailed reviews and challenges of financial strategy of business units
- Communicate with Board, CEO, LMP, and Executive Leadership Team
- Build and manage financial operations (close process, collections, payroll, A/P, A/R)
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and coordinate tax reports and planning
- Deliver financial results accurately and in a timely manner with proper controls in place
Requirements
- Experience leading corporate finance functions, ideally within professional and business services
- Experience with KPIs and managing multiple business units
- Experience with private equity is a plus
- Strong grasp of financial operations (close process, collections, payroll, A/P, A/R)
- Proven track record of driving change, controls, and financial results in a company within professional services
- Ability to translate financial strategies into tactical plans and reporting requirements
- Experience with M&A activity, integration, strategic modeling, and ROI analysis
- Ability to optimize relationships with banks, lenders, and investors
- Ability to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and coordinate tax reports and planning
- Leadership, coaching, and talent development skills for finance and accounting teams
- Strategic planning, forecasting, and financial modeling skills
- Experience providing FP&A support to business leaders
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with Board, CEO, private equity sponsor, and executive leadership
