About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, assemble, fabricate, or repair crates, boxes, cartons, and other packaging containers of large or unusual size or shape
- Prepare finished products for shipment or storage by placing them in proper shipping containers
- Perform quality checks and meet product specifications
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace
- Perform sanitation duties and material handling
- Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using prescribed lockout procedures
- Ensure equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition
- Adapt and problem-solve quickly when unforeseen equipment issues arise during normal operations
- Work the current shift option of 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment
- Basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures
- Ability to utilize computer technology and basic math skills
- Ability to safely operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using prescribed lockout procedures
