About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, assemble, fabricate, or repair crates, boxes, cartons, and other packaging containers of large or unusual size or shape
Prepare finished products for shipment or storage by placing them in proper shipping containers
Perform quality checks and meet product specifications
Maintain a safe and clean workplace
Perform sanitation duties and material handling
Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using prescribed lockout procedures
Ensure equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition
Adapt and problem-solve quickly when unforeseen equipment issues arise during normal operations
Work the current shift option of 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment
Basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures
Ability to utilize computer technology and basic math skills
Ability to safely operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using prescribed lockout procedures
