About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and drive digital technology exploration and technology transfer to industrialization within the coffee category
- Integrate innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and product development
- Serve as the technical expert on state-of-the-art digital and automation tools and technologies used in coffee
- Build organisational capability through a train-the-trainer approach
- Lead exploration and development of digital capabilities with IT, Zones, and technology partners
- Evolve the Digital & Automation roadmap for coffee
- Oversee deployment and adoption of the Digital & Automation roadmap across Zones and operations
- Ensure effective technology transfer and sustainable implementation
- Drive and technically evaluate proofs of concept
- Assess improvements and support successful scale-up of validated technologies
- Establish and maintain digital and automation technology standards
- Promote best-practice sharing throughout the coffee manufacturing network
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Electronics, Software, Telecommunications engineering, Automation or equivalent
- Extensive experience in R&D, Data Analytics, Automation, Industrial IT, or software engineering
- Advanced technical knowledge in Data Analytics, Software Development, or Automation
- Proven track record of successful project execution and technology implementation
- Strong project and change management capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in user-centered design and agile methodologies
- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements
- Strong curiosity and passion for innovation
- Hands-on attitude
