About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, manage, ensure compliance of, sustain, and continuously improve the factory’s food safety programs
  • Ensure products are manufactured, packaged, stored, and shipped under safe and wholesome conditions
  • Support factory HACCP systems, food safety plans, and food defense plans
  • Manage pest management and sanitation programs for the facility
  • Maintain regulatory records for master sanitation, pest control, and chemical use
  • Communicate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure quality and food safety compliance
  • Develop and maintain internal and external audit plans, procedures, and documents
  • Train and coach employees in food safety, good manufacturing practices, pest management, and sanitation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years' HACCP, Food Safety, Auditing, Laboratory or Pest Management experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • Basic proficiency in English to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures
  • Certified Pest Management Professional License preferred
  • PCQI Certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Pest Management preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
  • Strong knowledge of sanitary design preferred
