About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Margaux is recruiting an Apprentice Maintenance/Methods Engineer who will join the Montfort plant, which is committed to improving equipment reliability, maintenance performance and structuring methods.
  • You will be responsible for: Autonomous Maintenance (AMM) - Participating in the definition and deployment of AMM standards - Supporting field teams in adopting practices - Updating AMM materials (work instructions, checklists, visual aids) - Monitoring progress and AMM maturity on targeted equipment.
  • Assisting EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) leaders in analyzing the current state (preventive tasks, workloads, scheduling) - Participating in the review and optimization of preventive maintenance plans - Contributing to planning improvements (balancing workload/resources) - Identifying and proposing simplification and reliability initiatives - Participating in reducing costs in the technical stores.
  • Developing, maintaining and evolving Power BI dashboards - Updating key maintenance performance indicators (KPIs) - Analyzing data from the CMMS and tracking tools - Contributing to the standardization of indicators and calculation methods.
  • Providing regular reporting to your tutor and the technical team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) with a specialization in maintenance / methods.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance, methods or industrial engineering.
  • Interest in equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Strong interest in data analysis and digital tools.
  • Knowledge of — or interest in — Power BI (dashboard development and updates).
  • Ability to formalize processes and standards.
  • Comfortable working on the shop floor and in an industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and structuring skills.
  • Rigorous, organized and attentive to priorities.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work easily with diverse profiles (maintenance, production).
  • Developing increasing autonomy and proactivity.
  • Technically curious and motivated to learn.
